You must check surf reports before you head out. You don't want to drive for hours only to get to a beach that has small to no surf at all.

I have a few favourite sites that I use and shall impart my wisdom to you!

My absolute favourite site is Swellnet.

Another one that friends recommend is Magic Seaweed.

Another very popular website to check that has surf reports on international surf spots is Surfline
